Job description

  • WebAssembly is a binary instruction format for a stack-based virtual machine as well as a portable compilation target for arbitrary programming languages, enabling application deployment on any modern hardware.
  • You identify the potential of WebAssembly compared to traditional virtualization concepts like containers
  • You research for target device interpreters and runtime environments like Wasm3
  • You create an embedded device application that provides an interpreter for WebAssembly.
  • You make sure that the application can be executed securely in the WebAssembly sandbox.

Qualifications

  • Personality & work style: Team player with good communication skills, structured and solution-oriented working methods combined with a high-quality awareness and independence
  • Experience and know-how: Basic knowledge of embedded Linux and C++ software development, experience with container technologies advantageous
  • Education: Students of Computer Science or a comparable field of study
  • Languages: Very good German and English skills
