WebAssembly is a binary instruction format for a stack-based virtual machine as well as a portable compilation target for arbitrary programming languages, enabling application deployment on any modern hardware.
You identify the potential of WebAssembly compared to traditional virtualization concepts like containers
You research for target device interpreters and runtime environments like Wasm3
You create an embedded device application that provides an interpreter for WebAssembly.
You make sure that the application can be executed securely in the WebAssembly sandbox.
Qualifications
Personality & work style: Team player with good communication skills, structured and solution-oriented working methods combined with a high-quality awareness and independence
Experience and know-how: Basic knowledge of embedded Linux and C++ software development, experience with container technologies advantageous
Education: Students of Computer Science or a comparable field of study
