Mastering generative AI for day-to-day work
This training provides practical knowledge on the effective use of generative AI, especially large language models (LLMs), in day-to-day work. Participants learn how to use image and text generators in a targeted and compliant manner.
Objectives and training content
On completion of the training, participants will be able to independently integrate generative AI into everyday tasks and check the quality of AI results. They will know what to consider in terms of compliance and feel confident in using generative AI.

- Overview of legal framework (AI Act, IP, data protection, copyright)
- Text generation with LLMs and advanced prompting
- Basics of text generation with prompt engineering techniques
- Methods for prompt optimization
- Integration of external data and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Strategies for connecting external documents and data sources
- Use of RAG to manage large data sources
- Optional: Generative AI in (software) engineering
- Optimization of requirements and tests with generative AI
- Potential for creating, understanding, testing, and documenting code with GitHub Copilot
- Practice session: Application to your own examples
