The training provides application-oriented instruction on the current ISO/PAS 8800 specification for the use of AI in safety-related systems in road vehicles. ISO/PAS 8800 provides a comprehensive framework for the development, testing, and implementation of safety-critical AI functions. Participants gain in-depth insights into the key content of the specification and its concrete practical implementation.
After the training, participants will be able to integrate ISO/PAS 8800 into safety-related projects in a targeted manner. They will be familiar with key concepts, understand the interfaces to related standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21448, and have an overview of the AI and data safety lifecycle. This will enable them to use AI systems safely and efficiently.

Target audience
The training is aimed at safety assessors, developers, and project managers who are intensively involved in the safe development and evaluation of AI systems.
Prerequisites
Prior knowledge of the ISO 26262 (FuSi) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) standards is required. Alternatively, a short introduction to both standards can be provided before this training course. No programming knowledge is required.
