Trainings

This training offers a comprehensive introduction to the development of safety-critical functions in an automotive context in accordance with ISO 26262. It deals with fundamental terms and concepts such as Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL), hazard analysis, risk assessment and ASIL decomposition, as well as the application of functional safety throughout the entire safety life cycle. As part of this, a variety of methods for avoiding and managing systematic and random failures are presented. Our safety experts use discussions and interactive exercises to teach participants about functional safety.
After completing the training, participants have a comprehensive understanding of the demands and interrelationships of safety-oriented development in accordance with ISO 26262. They are able to conduct hazard analyses, develop ISO-compliant safety concepts, and ensure compliance with the requirements of the standard throughout all phases of the product life cycle. They also learn how to evaluate existing processes with respect to ISO 26262 and identify potential for optimization.
Supplemented with practical experience in developing electronic or safety-critical systems in an automotive context, the training provides a good basis for certification as a Functional Safety Certified Automotive Engineer (FSCAE). This certification can be obtained from independent certification companies.
