Duration: 2 days

Participants: up to 12 people

Location: virtual or in person

Cost: on request

Visualization of various data blocks with dependencies.

This training provides a practical introduction to programming with MATLAB – an interactive development environment for numerical calculations, data analysis, algorithm development, and visualization. Participants will learn basic programming concepts and apply key functions of the development environment in a practical manner.

Objective and training content

Participants will learn the basics of programming with MATLAB. They will be able to program simple scripts and functions, visualize data, and use simple I/O functions.

Training content:

  • Overview of the MATLAB development environment
  • Basics: vectors, matrices, and variables
  • Working with the m-editor
  • Working with live scripts
  • Container data types such as structures and cell arrays
  • Flow control
  • Creating and using functions
  • Basics of I/O functions
  • Data visualization in 2D
  • Interpolation and approximation

The content of the training can be tailored to your project-specific requirements and questions.
