This training deals with the implementation of discrete-time systems, in particular with the transfer of continuous-time controllers to systems with a fixed sampling rate. Participants learn how to program controllers with the difference equation method and how to efficiently implement state controllers in code.
After completing the training, participants will be able to confidently transfer model-based control algorithms to discrete-time systems.
Training content:
Basics of discrete-time systems
Implementation of continuous-time controllers
Discrete state controllers and state observers
Practical exercises on real-time implementations
Use of MATLAB, Simulink, and embedded coding tools
Target audience
Development engineers, mathematicians, and scientists with basic knowledge of control engineering who want to expand their knowledge of discrete-time systems and their application in real-time systems.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink is required for participation, as the exercises will be carried out using these tools. In addition, knowledge of control engineering and state-space representation is required.
Further information
We offer this training as a customized training course. There are currently no fixed dates for individual registrations. We would be happy to provide you with a customized offer for your company.
